Mission Statement
Our mission is to equip local Christians to faithfully proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ through one-to-one street evangelism, using the TEPP method as a biblical framework.
What is the TEPP Method?
The TEPP method is a simple, biblical, and flexible approach to evangelism that can be easily applied and taught. It stands for:
1. Tract – Distribute gospel tracts to engage people with the message of salvation.
2. Engage – Start conversations and build bridges to share the gospel.
3. Proclaim – Clearly present the gospel of Jesus Christ.
4. Pray – Trust God to work in the hearts of those who hear, and pray for them.
This method is biblically based and has been effectively tested in real-world evangelistic settings. For an in-depth guide, refer to The TEPP Method: A Guide to Effective One-to-One Street Evangelism by Lee Atkin.
"Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation." (Mark 16:15)
The Need for Street Evangelism
Many Christians feel called to share the gospel on the street, yet many churches do not actively equip believers for this mission. While friendship evangelism is widely encouraged, there remains a great need for direct, biblical evangelism in public spaces.
Both methods—relational evangelism and street preaching—are modelled in Scripture. The apostle Paul regularly preached in public spaces:
"So he reasoned in the synagogue with the Jews and the devout persons, and in the marketplace every day with those who happened to be there." (Acts 17:17)
This ministry seeks to revive and equip believers for this form of evangelism.
The Role of the One-to-One Evangelism Group
This group consists of local believers from various churches, united under the lordship of Jesus Christ. While we set aside minor theological differences, we stand firm on the core gospel message:
All have sinned and fallen short of God's glory. (Romans 3:23)
Under God's law, we stand condemned and deserving of hell. (Romans 6:23)
Jesus Christ died and rose again to provide salvation. (1 Corinthians 15:3-4)
Salvation is a free gift of grace—not earned but received through repentance and faith in Jesus. (Ephesians 2:8-9)
This is the message we proclaim, urging people to repent and trust in Jesus as their Lord and Saviour.
“The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few.” (Luke 10:2)
We seek to equip, encourage, and send out believers into the harvest field.
How the Local Church Can Support This Work
While this is a grassroots evangelism movement, we recognise the local church as the God-ordained place for discipleship and growth. The church can support this work in the following ways:
Encouraging believers with a heart for evangelism and a love for lost souls to join us.
Identifying and equipping those gifted as evangelists. Encouraging them to lead in the role of the evangelist. We would love them to lead local groups from your church on the street.
Providing space for training and discipleship, where possible. (2 Timothy 2:2) Training spaces are extremely helpful. Look upon it as God's armoury. It's where we go to equip ourselves before battle!
While we plant gospel seeds in the streets, we trust local churches to disciple new believers and help them grow in their faith.
“I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the growth.” (1 Corinthians 3:6)
Additionally, church leaders who are gifted in evangelism should train and mobilise their congregations to reach the lost regularly.
Do the work of an evangelist, fulfil your ministry. (2 Timothy 4:5)
Financial Support?
No, Just Your Prayers and Participation
This mission is not about financial gain. Everything remains completely free, as we trust that God will provide for His work.
Instead of donations, we ask for your prayers and participation as we seek to fulfil the Great Commission together.
“How are they to hear without someone preaching?” (Romans 10:14)
May the Lord bless this work.
